Beyond The Break is a rock band from Llanelli, South Wales and includes drummer Aled Richards of Triple Platinum album selling Catatonia, one of Wale's Cool Cymru bands of the late '90s..
The band was signed to London's 2p Records before playing a live show on just the strength of their demo.
The debut E.P ‘Pictures Of Losing Sleep’ was recorded as a live performance direct to tape over the space of two weekends at Smokehouse Studios in London, capturing the band's full essence in the recordings.
EP single track ‘The Way It Was’ received in excess of 25,000 organic plays on Spotify in the first four weeks with the band only playing a handful of shows including a sold out hometown gig and performing for the Foo Fighters Fan Club at the Foo's Wembley show. At the year mark, the band had broken 100,000 plays.
Preserving the integrity of analogue ‘Pictures..’ has been released on virgin 12” vinyl and features four intensely engaging alt-rock tracks.
The EP has had excellent reviews and te link to the band's Bandcamp page is below should you would wish to purchase any or all of the tracks.
Catch the band live if you can as they sound as good live as they do on recod.

Just Drive are based in South Wales and were formed in early 2017 and since then have played regular shows around the UK from festivals to local independent Welsh venues as well as higher capacity venues such as the O2 Academy in Birmingham.

Not So Lost
Following on from their single ‘Romance Is Over’, which was released in February 2019, the band released ‘Wait By My Side’ in June. The track was produced and recorded by Nick Brine (Oasis, The Darkness, Bruce Springsteen, Teenage Fan Club) at the iconic Rockfield studios in Monmouth, South Wales.
‘Wait By My Side’ was accompanied by a video which was mixed and mastered by Josh Tyrell at British Grove Studios, owned by the legendary Mark Knopfler of Dire Straights.
Keep an eye on the band’s social media pages for any forthcoming gigs.

Future Fires are a four-piece rock band from Birmingham who formed in 2017 and who produce strong melodies and catchy choruses.
Having honed their craft with regular gigs on the Birmingham indie scene, Future Fires have evolved into creating ‘apocalyptic indie’: dark, truthful lyrics laced with cynicism and regret.
On her ‘MoggBlog’ musician Chloe Mogg said “this is a band that you’d be dancing to at big festivals in no time”, an opinion shared by others such as Counteract who say the band are “Bound to cause scenes at a summer festival” and BBC Introducing who state they are “The kind of band you'd really enjoy live”.
The video below is the excellent ‘Infinite Life’, released February 2020.
The band's next single, 'Halfway Down', will be released on Friday, 15th May, and you can hear a teaser of that track on their Facebook page.
