South Wales hard rock band Fallen Temples consist of two-thirds of previous (and now defunct) PP&P band Tidal.
They formed in the summer of 2015 “with an appetite to play riff and groove laden hard rock, giving the nod to the old school heaviness created by Black Sabbath and brought into modern day by bands such as Rival Sons, Clutch and Soundgarden.”
Amongst the gigs they’ve played are Planet RockStock 2016 and a headline performance at Welsh festival Kingsfest. In a previous incarnation they’ve also shared the stage with the likes of NWOBHM royalty Diamond Head, (Motorhead’s) Phil Campbell’s All Star Band, Feeder and Revoker.

From Cardiff, South Wales, Ravenbreed are (as at the beginning of February 2018) a relatively new band who formed several months ago in mid 2017.
They have just released their first single, ‘Insult’ (video below), which is a track from their three track debut EP ‘Hollowed’ which is due for release on February 28th (2018).
To quote the band themselves:
“With influences from Alice in Chains, Foo Fighters, Alter Bridge, Pantera, Motorhead, Guns N Roses to name a few, the band's influences, based in rock and metal, come together to form a hard rock sound for people who like guitar bass and drums, and melodies for people who like to sing their hearts out at shows”.
If you like what you hear on their track ‘Insult’, keep an eye on their social media pages for news of any forthcoming gigs.

Brothers Henry and Jack share vocal duties in this young, fresh rock band from Heathfield in East Sussex, which was formed in 2013 by the Baldwin brothers and their school friend Ed ‘Barking’ Barnes.
Their influences are old school rock artists such as The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Hendrix, The Who and Neil Young.
They currently have a 10 track album out (released summer of 2018), ‘Songs About Last Night’, which is garnering ace reviews such as this one:
“It is the mark, or rather the marque, of tremendous talent and it alarms me how clearly superb the band is going to become.” Geoff Baker – July 2018
You can purchase the album via the usual digital outlets, or buy the CD from the band's website.
