Face The King
Hailing from New York, this 4-piece alternative/rock band consists of: Eric Zirlinger (Vocals/Guitar/Keys); Dan DelVecchio (Lead Guitar/Vocals/Keys); Joey Dammacco (Bass/Vocals/Synth) and Randy Palumbo (Drums/Percussion).
The band signed to CI Records, a Pennsylvania based record label, early in 2015.
They've made various high profile appearances such as at the Rockstar UPROAR Festival (w/Staind, Shinedown, Godsmack), a full leg on the Vans Warped Tour 2012-2014 (w/Echosmith, Of Mice and Men, New Found Glory, Yellowcard, Finch) and most recently the 2014 CBGB Festival main stage in Times Square, NYC (w/Jane's Addiction, Billy Idol, We Are Scientists, Devo, and many more).
Eric Zirlinger's voice is pure bliss to listen to. The single "The Sea" was produced by producer Rob Freeman (Gym Class Heroes) and wouldn't sound out of place on a Starsailor album) ... staying with the British band comparisons, they have been described as "Coldplay with balls".
You can decide for yourself how British or not they sound via the Soundcloud links.

"Comprised of sincere musicians that still take pride in lyrical content and musical movement. With every single note planned to support the emotion of the song, the band delivers on their uncompromising vision. From the syncopated drum and bass lines, to the layers of guitars that support the vocal melodies, Poynte is a well-oiled emotion machine that leaves audiences of all ages captivated and wanting more.
The band’s vision has always been clear, and that is to write heartfelt music while retaining their commercial viability. Through a relentless and sometimes tumultuous pursuit, the solidified lineup has finally been carved into stone. These five musicians have completely embraced that shared vision, and the musicianship to make Poynte complete is now in place. This incarnation is what Poynte has needed to be to take the band to the next level."
