Back in 2018, with different band members, they had released their debut EP which had attracted a growing fan-base and garnered them recognition by BBC Introducing as well as them being Richer Sound's Artist of the Week and finalists in Radio Wigwam's Rock Act of the Year.
The band in that form however split and it was the acrimonious split that led to the new album. The opening track,’Splintered’, was written soon after and contains the line: 'The shame will never end but I'm coping on my own. The ones I left behind - they just fade out'. You can hear ‘Splintered’ via the Youtube video below.
The band say “We just can’t do trends. We end up chucking in elements from all manner of genres and smashing them together”.
